Congratulations on finding this one on Amazon, as at the time of this review Amazon still has it listed as simply “Western Digital Computer NAS Hard Drive 128 MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare or OEM Drives” with no mention of WD Red Pro 6TB in the title. A search for WD Red Pro 6TB only brings up the discontinued model and several marketplace sellers trying to exploit the…

Nice improvement over 5400RPM drives – no surprises or issues Drives are fast and reliable. No issues unpacking or using the drives. I would recommend these drives as a good upgrade from the slower and smaller cache equivalent drives.

Speedy and stable Used these in a new Synology NAS and they spun up perfectly and have been working well for the past 3 months. The 7200RPM has added some speed to the transfer rates as well.
