Fast at this price range with these specs. I like it! For the price, and specs it’s always SanDisk or Samsung for me. I build lots of machines, neither one has ever failed. This X400 lists about the same specs on paper as the newest Samsung, is cheaper and actually “feels” faster in real world. Crucial and Samsung are also great based on my experience, but SanDisk seems to have a more solid platform (for today!).

It’s not the fastest SSD but the performance for the cost is excellent and this 512G is a great starter SSD with … So far it is worth the 5 stars based on price and performance, the durability will have to wait.
