Astonishingly good value When you buy something like a hard drive enclosure from a second-tier manufacturer for such a low price, there are certain expectations: shoddy workmanship, poorly translated manual, baffling packaging, poor design, etc. I’ll confess I had those expectations, but I didn’t expect it to matter — I wanted this enclosure for one-time use, to clone my Macbook’s current drive onto a new (higher capacity) drive before installing it.

So easy to use. Great little device. I have a bunch of old dead laptops stuffed in closets but never want to get rid of them in case there was some file on there that I might need some day. Better than the other brands, but….. Well, the jury is still out on this. This item is MUCH better than the other brands I have tried, but after having it for a few months, I am finding a small (so far) issue with the item: AGAIN, as with all the other brands, the plug connector that connects to the item/drive holder itself is not long enough to keep a firm connection after a couple of months of using this. If the metal plug was a tad longer, and the connector that held it was a tad longer, it would likely hold firmer…
