Lexar JumpDrive vs. Kingston DataTraveler With the seemingly gazillion Flash / Jump drives on the market, it can be difficult to determine which to acquire. I’ve tested many from Kingston to generic versions at companies like Microcenter. For the most part, it comes down to two factors: style and cost.

Great Little Big Drive This tiny Lexar JumpDrive has an integrated top that slips back so you don’t ever have to worry about losing it. That makes me happy since I always lost tops. And 64 gigs is plenty to store my most-needed documents and artwork. I back up my daily work to it when I don’t want to get the big external drive out. (I do a weekly serious backup, and then delete the backup files on this drive and start again.)

The bright white plus different bright colors is GREAT This is a great little flash drive. It’s amazing how small of a package 64GB can come in! I do wish it was the teal that was the 64GB, but it’s not that big of a deal, it’s not like such a tiny thing makes that big of a color impact. BUT the color difference is great for not losing it, both the white and then the bright purple (or green or teal or orange, depending what size you have) are easy to pick out wherever you may have stuck it or dropped it or forgotten it in a wee corner of your…
